Tube: UHMWPE, white, smooth, abrasion resistant, food quality. Complies with FDA-standards. (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene).

Reinforcement: Synthetic plies, embedded steel wire helix.

Cover: Special green rubber, smooth, weather, ozone and abrasion resistant. Fabric impression.

Application: Mandrel built multipurpose suction and delivery hose designed for acids, bases, ketones, aldehydes, esters, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons (limited resistance to chlorinated hydrocarbons). Also suitable for animal or vegetable foodstuffs and alcoholic drinks.

Safety Factor: 3:1

Temperature: -25°C to +100°C. Can be sterilized at +130 °C for max. 30 minutes in open systems. Temperature and concentration of the transported medium: refer to chemical resistance chart.

Hose Assemblies: Thor UHMWPE Chemical S/D Food Quality available in bespoke lengths with fittings including MBSP & FBSP threaded, flanges (PN16, ASA150, ASA300, Table D & Table E), camlock, storz and KCN Nipples in variuos materials in cluding stainless steel. Hoses assembled using interlocking safety clamps or swaged using ferrules.
